Summary
SayBack is designed to help users practice English by listening to model audio, speaking a phrase, and hearing their own voice immediately afterward. SayBack does not store your voice recordings as learning history.
Information We Handle
Voice Recordings
SayBack uses the microphone so you can record your voice during speaking practice. Voice recordings are used only for the current practice flow, so you can hear yourself immediately after speaking. Recordings are temporary and are not saved as long-term learning history. SayBack does not upload your voice recordings to a server.
Speech Recognition Text
SayBack may use on-device speech recognition features to show a transcript of what you said during practice. Speech recognition text is used only to support the current practice session. It is not stored as long-term learning history and is not sent to analytics services.
Learning Metadata
SayBack stores lightweight learning metadata on your device, such as:

This information is used to support review scheduling, saved phrases, and practice progress.

Purchases
SayBack may offer subscriptions or one-time phrase pack purchases through Apple In-App Purchase. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. SayBack may store entitlement-related information, such as whether a phrase pack or subscription is active, to unlock app content.
